MobileBiz Systems Pte Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the MobileBiz Pro mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Business Data You Create (Stored Locally)
The App stores the following data on your device in a local database. This data does not leave your device unless you choose to use cloud backup or sync features:
- Invoices, estimates, quotes, and other business documents
- Customer and contact information
- Product and inventory records
- Payment and expense records
- Company and business settings
- Custom fields and notes
1.2 Device Identifier
The App generates a random unique identifier for your device. This identifier:
- Is used to associate your device with your account for cloud features.
- Cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Is not shared with third parties.
1.3 Account Information
If you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Your Google email address
- Your display name
We use this information solely to authenticate your identity and link your data across devices. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other Google account data.
1.4 Cloud Backup Data
When you use cloud backup features, your business data (such as database backups) is uploaded to your own cloud storage account — either Dropbox (available to all users) or Google Drive (Plus subscribers). This data is stored by the cloud provider you choose, not on MobileBiz servers. Please refer to the respective provider's privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.
1.5 Cloud Photo Storage (Plus Subscribers)
When you subscribe to MobileBiz Plus, photos you add to invoices and customers are stored on MobileBiz cloud servers. This enables:
- Including photos in PDF invoices
- Accessing your photos across multiple devices
What we store: Invoice photos and customer photos — image files only. Item pictures and signatures are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to cloud storage.
What we do not store: Your invoices, customer information, item details, pricing, financial records, or any other business data. All business data remains exclusively on your device.
Cloud photo storage is protected by the same security measures described in Section 4 below.
1.6 Analytics and Crash Data
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to collect:

This data is collected in aggregate and does not include your business data or personal information.
1.7 Purchase Information
Plus subscription purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (active/expired) but do not have access to your payment method, credit card details, or billing address.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service — Store and process your business data, enable cloud backup and sync.
- Authenticate you — Verify your identity when you sign in and manage your session.
- Improve the App — Analyse usage patterns to fix bugs, improve performance, and develop new features.
- Provide support — Help troubleshoot issues when you contact us.
- Manage subscriptions — Verify premium purchase status and provide premium features.
We do not:
- Sell your personal information to third parties.
- Use your business data for advertising or marketing.
- Share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- Read, access, or analyse the content of your invoices, customer records, or other business documents.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
Your business data is stored locally on your device in a private database accessible only to the App. This data is protected by your device's built-in security features (screen lock, device encryption).
4.2 Cloud Storage
When you use cloud backup features, your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Access controls to prevent unauthorised access
- Data isolation — your data is separated from other users' data
4.3 Data Location
Cloud data may be stored and processed in data centres located outside your country of residence. By using cloud features, you consent to this transfer.
5. Data Retention
- Local data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Cloud backup data (database backups to Dropbox or Google Drive) is stored in your own cloud storage account and is subject to that provider's retention policies.
- Cloud photo storage (invoice photos and customer photos) is retained while your Plus subscription is active. If you cancel your Plus subscription, cloud files are automatically deleted after 90 days.
- Analytics data is retained according to Firebase's data retention policies (typically 14 months).
- Crash reports are retained for 90 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — You can view and export all your business data through the App's backup and export features.
- Delete your data — You can delete individual records within the App, clear all data, or uninstall the App to remove local data.
- Delete cloud data — You can request deletion of your cloud-stored data by contacting us at support@mobilebizpro.com.
- Opt out of analytics — You can disable analytics data collection through your device settings.
- Withdraw consent — You can stop using cloud features at any time by signing out.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may also have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is designed for business use and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide notice through the App.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your data.
