How to Change Font Size on Invoices

If your invoice text is too small or too large on printed PDFs, you can adjust the font size directly from any transaction's Print Preview.

Steps

  1. Open any invoice (or quote, cash sale, or sales order).

  2. Tap the Edit icon (pencil) in the action bar, then tap Print Preview.

  3. Tap Customize in the preview screen — this opens the template editor.

  4. Tap the Page & Style section to expand it. Under Font Size, tap the dropdown and select the size you want (e.g., 8pt, 10pt, 12pt).

  5. Tap the Preview icon (eye) in the action bar to see the change applied immediately.

  6. Tap the Save icon (disk) to keep the new font size.

Good to Know

  • The Page & Style screen also lets you change the page size (A4, Letter, Legal), orientation (Portrait/Landscape), page margins, and theme color — all from the same place.
  • Font size changes apply to all transaction types that use this template. If you need different sizes for invoices vs. quotes, create a copy of the template and assign each to a different transaction type.
  • To assign a template to a specific transaction type, go to Lists > Print Templates, long-press the template, and tap Make default.
