Plus Active but Not Showing on This Device?

You paid for Plus, but the app on this device still acts like the free version. This is almost always one of three simple things — work through them in order and you'll be back to Plus in a minute or two.

1. Update the App

Start here. Older versions had an issue correctly recognizing an active subscription, and updating fixes it in most cases.

  1. Open Google Play and search for MobileBiz Pro.
  2. Tap Update if the button is shown.
  3. Reopen MobileBiz Pro and check whether Plus is now active.

If there's no Update button, you're already on the latest version — move on to the next step.

2. Check the Google Account on This Device

Your Plus subscription belongs to the Google account you bought it with. If this device is signed in to a different Google account, the app won't see the subscription — even though everything is paid up.

This is the most common reason a second device shows the free version.

  1. Open Google Play and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Look at the account name and email shown at the top.
  3. Confirm it matches the account you subscribed with. If it's different, tap the account name to switch to the correct one, then reopen MobileBiz Pro.

You can also confirm the subscription itself is active: tap your profile iconSubscriptions & paymentsSubscriptions — your MobileBiz Pro subscription should be listed there as active. If it isn't listed, you're looking at the wrong Google account.

3. Re-Check the Purchase in the App

If the app is up to date and signed in to the right account, ask MobileBiz Pro to re-check your subscription:

  1. Open the side menu — at the very bottom you'll see Subscription. Tap it.
  2. Tap "Restore" at the top of the screen.

The app re-checks your Google account and activates Plus if it finds your subscription.

If you just subscribed moments ago, wait a short while and tap Restore again — new subscriptions can take a little time to register.

Good to Know

  • Plus follows your Google account, not a single phone. Sign in to the same account on any device and use Restore to activate Plus there too.
  • If Restore says no active subscription was found but you're certain you subscribed, double-check step 2 — a mismatched Google account is the usual culprit.
  • Your business data is never affected by any of this. Switching accounts or tapping Restore only re-checks your subscription — it never touches your invoices or records.
